This parenting workshop is focused on assisting parents in managing their children's oppositional behavior. This is a small group workshop which allows Dr. McShane to assist in providing specific strategies for each family.

This group provides an opportunity for parents/caregivers of children with special needs to gather together face-to-face in a safe space. Groups can be used as time to share problems/concerns, as well as strategies and solutions. This group assists in building and strengthening the special needs community, but most importantly, the group provides therapeutic support from both the clinician and families alike.  Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

This weekly group offers support for children ages 8-11, as they navigate personal, social and academic pressures. The focus of this group changes depending on the needs of the current group. An intake appointment is required prior to enrollment in the group to assure group cohesiveness, so that all group members' needs are met (based on children's level of functioning).

This group is for pre-teen and teenage girls who experience anxiety. The group environment facilitates feelings of camaraderie and instills confidence. The group teaches active coping strategies and provides opportunities to practice these skills in a safe, nonjudgmental space with peers.
