SERVICES
Dr. McShane provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Further, Dr. McShane offers group style treatment for children and parents. Groups include social skills groups for elementary school children, anxiety groups for teen and preteen girls, and a parent support group, "Coffee and Comfort," for parents of children with special needs.
When working with children, she actively engages caregivers and other important figures in the child’s life to work as a team, as we see better results when we work together. Through play therapy and behavioral interventions, Dr. McShane encourages children to express themselves in an age-appropriate manner to best understand their emotional experience.

Dr. McShane understands psychotherapy with adolescents and adults to be an active and collaborative process. This involves both self-exploration and the application of practical skills to assist in solving problems.
